Workshop Presenter's Profile:

Asif Baki is a user experience researcher for Google's Geo products, working with product team members to improve the user experience of Google Maps and Google Earth. Additionally, he works with Google.org on addressing people's needs in crisis-affected regions. Prior to his current role, Asif spent two years working on Google's international search offerings and worked in Google's Bangalore office where he worked on products and services for the Indian market. Before arriving at Google in 2006, Asif spent three years at Microsoft as a user experience researcher in the company's digital media division. Asif has a a bachelor's degree in economics and computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
